Rated 5 out of 5 by from So far so good! I purchased a re-furbished model several months ago. Great service. Love my Blendtec! Easy to use, extremely easy to clean. I have used a very sturdy Oster blender for nearly 30 years. The Blendtec allows me to make my green smoothies on the run in the morning with a very quick clean-up. I freeze my ingredients in jars, add them to the blender, blend and pour the smoothies back into the jars, put the lids on and have a days worth for "snacking" on. I would purchase this again and recommend it to others. It is a little noisy when grinding frozen chunks. I put my hand on the lid if it gets a little jumpy. I expect it and the noise is short lived.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love my Blendtec I just got me refurbished Blendtec and love it. I own an ice cream shop and have had 2 commercial blenders to make smoothies. I used the Hamilton Beach Commercial and the Vitamix. Blendtec blows them away. We can put in our mix, ice and walk away. When we come back it is perfect. Both Hamilton Beach and Vitamix involved mixing to get the mixture to move. The flat bottom on the Blendtec makes it perfect for getting every bit of smoothie out of the bottom. The other blenders were too narrow to use a spatula to get the mixture out. Great design and performance. I hope it lasts for years. Oh, the refurbished looks like new. Great value!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product and service Purchased a refurbished unit online in early July. Somehow the order was lost, but a great customer service rep handled the issue and expedited the shipment. The rep was very professional, it makes me feel that we have made a good choice in buying Blendtec. We have friends that purchased both a Vitamix and this Blendtec unit, and after 10 days of using both, they sent the Vitamix back. Blendtec was far better for their smoothy and cooking needs. I have only used my Blendtec a few times, but I am very impressed with the power and the results. With a seven year warranty and great customer service, I can't imagine why you would buy anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Push of a button I have to say; I love my blendtec. I had borrowed a Vitamix from friends on several occasions to make smoothies (I wanted to blend rather than juice because I wanted to keep all of the veggie/fruit goodness and not waste it). The Vitamix worked well but, I had to put a lot more work into blending. My blendtec has everything I need programmed into it! I make a large batch every few days and keep the rest in the fridge! When I get home I chop and freeze what I can beets, celery, watermelon ect and then in the am I pop in whatever I want in my smoothie press the button and it goes through the cycle and bam I'm done! For what I wanted I am so glad I went with the blendtec.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best blender EVER! I received this blender as a gift, it is by far the BEST gift I've received (for the kitchen). I have used it almost every day since it landed on my doorstep. I make green smoothies, milkshakes, white russians (hehe) and so much more. I feel like I haven't even touched on what this machine can do. My husband is extremely impressed by the power and wants to show everyone who walks through our door. If you are on the fence about purchasing a refurb blender, I understand, but with the garauntee and warranty it's a win win situation. I would also reccomend the Twister Jar if wanting to make nut butter, salad dressings, etc. Thank you Blendtec!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Disappointing I have owned this blender and used it a ton. It can not handle blending frozen fruit. I bought it to make smoothies and it has been a total let down. I have to add too much liquid to get it to blend then my smoothie is too runny. I just made some milkshakes for my girls tonight and they turned out runny too. The strawberry ice cream recipe from the book won't even blend. I have to stop it and stir multiple times to finally get it to blend. I opted for the Blendtec because of the size and supposedly the ability to blend without the tamper. Unfortunately my blender just doesn't work well and I wish I had bought the Vitamix instead.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Unsure I'm still unsure how I feel about the blender, my smoothies are definitely better but $600 is a lot to pay for creamier smoothies! A few other things I've tried have been utter fails

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great blender for blending foods for my tube feed I have had my blendtec since Feb. 2014 and have done 1564 blends. It works as good now as it did the day it was received. My daughter is tube fed, had chronic diarrhea (dumping syndrome) for 10 years being on formula. I started blending her food with the Blendtec in Feb. 2014 and not one episode since I started blending real food. She also gets IVIG infusions (iv antibodies every 3 weeks for 11 years). Her antibody levels have never been higher. I would highly recommend this product to anyone. They have excellent customer service as well. You can actually speak to a person without being on hold for an extended period of time.

Two qustions: 1) I'm looking for a blender with a GLASS container. Plastic tends to get nicked up over time and particles end up in my blend. Do you offer a glass container option? If so how much? 2) Also, is this made in CHINA?

Asked by: aaron12
Our motors are very powerful which makes glass jars a safety hazard due to potential breaking, therefore we do not have glass jars. All of our products are designed and assembled in the US at our warehouse in Utah.

What's the difference between the classic and 575

Asked by: Del real
The Total Blender Classic has been around for many years and is still a great machine. The Classic 575 is part of our newer line of products that were released about a year and a half ago. The motors are both 3.0 PHP (peak horsepower) so the power is the same, and the same jars are used on each so the finished product is the same. The shape of the motor bases differ slightly while the biggest differences are what buttons and programmed cycles are available on each machine. The Total Blender Classic has 6 cycles available- Smoothie, Batters, Hot Soup, Whole Juice, Ice Cream, and Ice Crush- while the Classic 575 has Smoothie, Clean, 60-seconds, and the 90-seconds buttons.

Which is a newer model? This Bendtec or Blendtec Total Blender model ES3?

Asked by: Annwynn
I would have to know exactly what models you are referring to. The ES3 is not a specific model, it's the look of a base, so all our Classic models are technically ES3's. This is why we don't refer to them as ES3 models, and instead give them names like: Total Blender Classic, Classic 560, Classic 575, etc.

This model is our original Total Classic Blender model. It does not have a number in the name like the newer Classic 560 or 575 do.
