I don't know how i lived without this thing!!!!Went in half with my girlfriend on this and then after a few weeks If i could do it again i would just buy it myself because I'm afraid she will try to take it if we break up.
Seriously, if you are looking for a blender just spend the $500 and don't look back. It will pay for itself when you realize that you will be making professional quality smoothies and much more at home. We buy bags of frozen fruit and probably make 2 smoothies a day as well as use it as a food processor because it can turn everything into dust!

I love my blenderI got this as a Christmas gift last year, and have used it almost every day. I cant believe how many uses I have found for it, beyond just smoothies. It has been one of the most used items in our kitchen. I love knowing that it can handle anything that we put in it. We entertained guests recently for a week and they loved the frozen drinks at night and the great healthy smoothies in the morning. I also made the Tortilla soup recipe that came with the Blender and it is now one of my go to meals. It has been worth every penny. With the amazing warranty, I cant imagine not having one before. I love the ease of cleanup and the easy to clean touchscreen too.

Customer Service above the bestI've had my Blendtec for 2 years. I called support told them about an unusual loose sound. I had them listen to it over the phone. Gave me 2 options: send it back for repairs or swap it with a refurbished one- FREE Shipping! I chose the swap. Had it with in 3 days via UPS. They enclosed the paid return shipping tag. My Blendtec had over 1400 cycles. This "new" one has zero. Runs great, feels brand new. They stand behind their product 100%

Completes our kitchen!Bought this Blendtec a few months ago, cause my wife wanted an all purpose blender/juicer (we've had other juicers... waaay too much time in prep and clean up) - this unit really lived up to expectations and then some - from juices, to smoothies, to ice cream and more - most importantly, 15 secs to clean up - we're beyond pleased :))))

One Great MachineI've had this machine for about 8 months. I've made a couple of soups, salsas, and tons of fruit and/or veggie smoothies. There seems to be nothing it won't blend. It's just so fast, easy and thorough. Using strawberries or flax seeds, there's no sign of the seeds when the smoothie is done! Love the power. Love that it has no buttons or knobs. Cleaning is amazingly easy.
The only negative I had was the noise. It's very loud and seemed to really assault my ears when I first got it. I've gotten much more used to it now and no longer consider it a negative.

Worth it!!!Since 2007 i've been on a hunt for anything American made. Glad i made the choice to spend my money on this. The preprogramed cycles actually do the job! Cleaning is a snap... no knobs to work around.

my wife won't get out of the kitchenWow, what a machine. We had the blender for about a month and I think I have been cleaning the jar 30 times, we use it almost every days. I mostly use the smoothies option. My wife use it to make almond butter and alamond chocolate butter, the small optional jar does a great job. We've try the soup options once and it did work, just put the ingredients in the jar, push the soup button and it comes out as a warm soup. Very satisfied, I recommend it to anybody who love cooking.

THE blender!Have muddled through with sub-par blenders for years, suffering icebergs in my frozen drinks and veritable jungle foliage in my green smoothies, I can't rave enough about the Blendtec Designer Series (WildSide). This one makes short work of everything, to the extent that smoothies are now an everyday thing in my house. It's ridiculously easy to clean - no more allowing the jar to sit on the counter hoping it will clean itself. It's still loud - it IS a blender, after all - but FAR quieter than I had expected given its power. My family was so impressed that we spent a good hour exploring the "Will it blend?" channel on YouTube. Love watching cooking shows now or going to a local coffee/smoothie bar and having my kids point out "look Dad: they use a Blendtec". And the soft-touch controls? WAY cool. GREAT JOB!!!

It really comes down to what you are looking for in a jar. These are the options we have that will fit on all Blendtec blender models:
WildSide+ jar: Great for larger blends and creating multiple servings of smoothies, etc.
FourSide jar: A similar jar to our WildSide+, but it's a bit smaller. You can typically make 2 smoothies with this jar.
Twister jar: Perfect for thicker blends, like hummus, nut butters, and more
Mini Twister jar: Similar to the Twister jar, just smaller
Mini WildSide jar: This is a smaller version of our WildSide+ jar, and is perfect for single-serve smoothies, as well as making smaller servings of dressings and sauces.

I just bought this model last week off of Amazon....now it says on your site that it has been discontinued. Why?

There is nothing wrong with this model, we discontinued it to introduce our new line of Designer models back in summer 2014. However, we do have some dealers and retailers who still have the product in stock. It is still covered under warranty. Should you experience any issues, just give us a call at 800-253-6383.

I got this model from Costco.ca... It's advertised as having 16 custom blending speeds. How is it 16? There are 6 presets (mixer, ice crush, smoothie, ice cream, whole juice and soup) and the manual slider has 8 speeds. Seems thats 14, no?

It does not have 16 speeds. It has 6 preprogrammed cycles and 8 manual speeds. We are working to get this fixed on the site.

If I have found this item new in packing on eBay, would it still be eligible for the warranty? I like the interface on this model more so than the new 625 model, but also want to be able to take advantage of the warranty if possible. Thank you!

Our warranties are transferable. As long as the blender you are purchasing is not out of warranty when you buy it, then you will still be covered.
