SmartBlend Technology

The Blendtec Designer 725 is truly the blender with a brain. Our exclusive SmartBlend technology senses and identifies potential problems that could interfere with the perfect blend-including loading errors, overheating, or air pockets - and then tells users how to fix them.

100-Speed Capacitive Touch Slider + Multi-Speed Pulse

The capacitive touch slider provides seamless precision speed control for 100 speeds with the slide of a finger. It even goes a step further to help users achieve the perfect blend by illustrating which speed to use for stirring, chopping, mixing, blending, or pureeing. The Multi-Speed Pulse provides an added burst of power at any speed.

Preprogrammed Cycle Suggestions

The Blendtec Designer 725 features six preprogrammed custom cycles: Smoothie, Salsa, Ice Cream, Whole Juice, Hot Soup, and Clean. When using preprogrammed cycles, the machine will suggest additional uses for the cycle to give users a better idea of the cycle's versatility.

"Add 10" Feature

The "Add 10" feature allows users to touch their preprogrammed cycles and add 10-second intervals, providing completely customized blends.

Blend Rewards

The Designer 725 rewards users for continued use through our exclusive Blend Rewards program. The 725 tracks each number of completed blends, then displays a code once certain blending milestones are reached. The code can be redeemed online for recipe books, gift cards, kitchen utensils, jar discounts, and more.

Designer 725 with Wildside+ Jar is rated 4.9231 out of 5 by 13.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Designer 725 with Wildside+ Jar is Dream Machine I purchased the Designer 725 with the Wildside+ Jar about month ago and it has exceeded all my expectations in performance, quality and design features. I've used it to make smoothies, salsa, soup bases and sauces with excellent results. The cleaning and scub cycle is awesome compared to how I had to manually wash my retired Cusinart Blender. It is truly a professional blender with power, outstanding design features and quality. The Wideside+ Jar works like a champ in blending, pouring and with the cleaning/scrub feature on the blender touch panel. The touch panel and features are awesome too. It's a very well designed blender along with the Wildside+ Jar and I would highly recommend to my friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-Quality Engineering and Design Integrity The simplicity and robustness of the engineering of the 725 is truly singular and remarkable, greatly exceeding our expectations. This American-made machine is positively "goof proof"... It is powerful, easy to clean, and forth right in its operation. Blendtec can expect future orders from us for its other products; our friends will become Blendtec consumers for certain. We did experience an unusual shipping delay, mainly owing to the demand for this model, causing us a bit of frustration; this was elegantly addressed by the three top-notch service representatives, for which a letter of gratitude to their leadership shall be forthcoming. Many Thanks... Dick B.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Blender I've Used I love this blender. The touch screen surface is great to wipe down and super easy to use, the wild side jar is a great size. So far I've made smoothies daily (love the "self cleaning"), whipped cream, and hummus. Can't wait to make more recipes! My only negative is how incredibly loud it is! I feel bad that I'm waking everyone in the house up and am slightly concerned about hearing loss! Otherwise it's a 5 star product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I bought this taking a risk as I'm using it in Europe. These things are so expensive here. But turns out, this thing works incredibly well with a converter. It has so much power. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and Versatile Traded in another brand for the 725. Love the design, power, and ease of use. The ONLY negative is this: I ultimately purchased two 725's from BB&B .... sent the first one back when it arrived without a plastic cover to protect the touch pad and there were scratches. The second 725 I received also didn't have a plastic cover but also had scratches on the touch pad. In the meantime I persuaded my sister in law into trading-in her Ninja for the 625 .... which arrived with a plastic cover on the touch pad and not a scratch in sight. What are the odds of two of the more expensive 725's purchased new in the box without a plastic protector? Other than that, the 725 is running perfectly and I'm glad I chose the Blendtec over other brands.

Snap to clean. Love the large wildside container. Can't wait to collect recipes and put this machine to the test!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Extreme performance with extreme sound Designer 725 is my first Blendtec product I bought. It can blend anything as commercial video. The touch screen is so fancy and easy to clean. The stainless case perfectly fit my kitchen and yes, easy to clean. The 725 is extremely loud when I blend something in the morning. I was so afraid to wake everyone up if I need to get up early. I love the pre-program buttons because I don't need to hold the buttons all the way during blending. However, sometimes when I try to push "+" and "-" at the same time to remind me what the pre-program icon means and got error. I need to try few more times then get the tips I need. Consider the price, I have no idea what's the big performance different between 625 and 725 even 725 provide more power than 625. I think 625 can also do it job perfectly but there is still 170 USD gap. Not so sure people really enjoy the extra benefit that 170 dollar earned.Anyway, It's a great product anyway. All my family member love it and enjoy the juice and soup everyday.

I have the Champagne Designer model. When I blend half-frozen fruit and almond milk, I have to stop the blender several times to "pop" and deflate the vacuum that occurs at the bottom jar. If I don't, nothing will get pulled down into the blade.

Asked by: Michael
Hi Michael, What you are experiencing is called cavitation. This occurs when there is not enough liquid, and too many solid food items. When this happens, remove the plastic part from the rubber lid, and slowly add more liquid until it starts blending again.

What are the differences between this new model and the previous iteration of the Blentec Designer series?

Asked by: Jesse
This one is a bit quieter and heavier than the previous one. It has a "Clean" setting and more manual speeds, and the material and color is different from the previous iteration of the Blendtec Designer Series.

1- Is the new WildSide+ jar available in both the 64oz and the 96oz capacities? 2- I understand the one that comes with the Designer Series 725 model is a 64oz capacity size, is that correct?

Asked by: jlsantos2
Our WildSide + jar is a 36oz capacity jar. Only fill to the top black line on each jar, that is the capacity for the blender to handle. If you load the jar up above the line the lid could blow off.
