SmartBlend Technology

The Blendtec Designer 725 is truly the blender with a brain. Our exclusive SmartBlend technology senses and identifies potential problems that could interfere with the perfect blend-including loading errors, overheating, or air pockets - and then tells users how to fix them.

100-Speed Capacitive Touch Slider + Multi-Speed Pulse

Get seamless precision speed control for 100 speeds with the slide of a finger. It even tells you which speed to use for stirring, chopping, mixing, blending, or pureeing. Use Multi-Speed Pulse for an added burst of power at any speed.

Preprogrammed Blend Cycles

Six preprogrammed custom cycles enable one-touch blending perfection: Smoothie, Salsa, Ice Cream, Whole Juice, Hot Soup, and Clean. The Designer 725 even suggests additional uses for each cycle so you know how to get the most from your blender.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Designer 725 with Wildside+ Jar is Dream Machine I purchased the Designer 725 with the Wildside+ Jar about month ago and it has exceeded all my expectations in performance, quality and design features. I've used it to make smoothies, salsa, soup bases and sauces with excellent results. The cleaning and scub cycle is awesome compared to how I had to manually wash my retired Cusinart Blender. It is truly a professional blender with power, outstanding design features and quality. The Wideside+ Jar works like a champ in blending, pouring and with the cleaning/scrub feature on the blender touch panel. The touch panel and features are awesome too. It's a very well designed blender along with the Wildside+ Jar and I would highly recommend to my friends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 725 Not Worth the Price I have owned a BlendTec for over 15 years. I thought long and hard about upgrading to the top of the line residential 725 model. Took the plunge anticipating a major improvement vs. my other blender. Result? Just about the same. Some cute little phrases print across the machine but it is JUST AS LOUD as the other, much less expensive models. I know this because I am an early riser. Most mornings I make a protein shake to have on the way to work. The kitchen is a long way from the bedrooms. We have a nice, executive home. Old Blentec, New 725 Blentec = same results. Wakes everyone up because of the noise. My advice. Save your money and go with less expensive Blentec. You will be just as happy and will have saved hundreds of dollars. I want you to know that I write this as a MAJOR Blentec fan. Their blenders are great. The 725 has no features to justify the premium price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-Quality Engineering and Design Integrity The simplicity and robustness of the engineering of the 725 is truly singular and remarkable, greatly exceeding our expectations. This American-made machine is positively "goof proof"... It is powerful, easy to clean, and forth right in its operation. Blendtec can expect future orders from us for its other products; our friends will become Blendtec consumers for certain. We did experience an unusual shipping delay, mainly owing to the demand for this model, causing us a bit of frustration; this was elegantly addressed by the three top-notch service representatives, for which a letter of gratitude to their leadership shall be forthcoming. Many Thanks... Dick B.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I bought this taking a risk as I'm using it in Europe. These things are so expensive here. But turns out, this thing works incredibly well with a converter. It has so much power. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Blender I've Used I love this blender. The touch screen surface is great to wipe down and super easy to use, the wild side jar is a great size. So far I've made smoothies daily (love the "self cleaning"), whipped cream, and hummus. Can't wait to make more recipes! My only negative is how incredibly loud it is! I feel bad that I'm waking everyone in the house up and am slightly concerned about hearing loss! Otherwise it's a 5 star product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply Put, FANTASTIC! Very powerful, easy to clean blender that can do it all from hot soups to amazing smoothies that are easy and enjoyable to drink. This blenders single dull blade is safe to touch when not in use and the WildSide cyclone action really does do a wonderful job of mixing your ingredients together without the need for a plunger like accessory. I really enjoy the beauty of this machine from the design to the gorgeous digital display. If you're in the market for a commercial grade blender and you're trying to decide between the blendtec and the Vitamix, do yourself a favor and purchase a blendtec that offers you more features for the same price, you will not be disappointed.

I'm deciding between a Vitamix and the Blendtec and am not happy with the "black spec" problems from the Teflon used in the Vitamix.  Does the Blendtec use Teflon on -any- of it's parts?

Asked by: Jack B
The jar is made of copolyester and the blade and nut are made of stainless steel. There is a small seal underneath the blade that is composed of a Teflon blend.

Does the blender jar have a screw off bottom or is it one piece (which i looks like online), meaning does each different jar just sit on top of a motor?I would prefer not to screw a bottom to each different jar when switching between them

Asked by: LAST
All Blendtec jars fit on each different blender model, you don't have to do anything special with them, just put the jar you are using on the base you have and blend away.

I am looking to buy a blendtec blender and I think I have decided on a designer series but my question is the 725 does not have the preset wisk symbol for doughs which I really like what setting would you recommend I use for that thank you

Asked by: Super chef 36
You'll use the Dips button, right next to the Smoothie button.

I'm in the US and planning to purchase a Designer 725 for Christmas. There's a chance I may move to the Netherlands next summer. Will I need to buy another one or can a Dutch service agent replace the motor with one rated for 230V?

Asked by: will247
No, our service dealers cannot replace the motor. You can always look at buying a Designer 625 in Europe once you move, or you can use a converter with your Designer 725. However, please note that if you get the Designer 725 and move to a country outside of the US or Canada, and use it in that country, the warranty will be void.

1. I will be making 1-2 serving sizes most of the time for just about everything I blend. Can I do this with the Wildside jar? 2. Can the 'Tweet your Blend' and any other 'social' messages be turned off on the 725?

Asked by: brittblend
1. It depends on the volume of the serving size. The FourSide makes 1-2 servings very well. The WildSide+ makes 1-2 servings pretty well as long as the total quantity is over 12 oz. 2. You cannot turn off the social messages on the Designer 725.
