100-Speed Capacitive Touch Slider + Multi-Speed Pulse

Get seamless precision speed control for 100 speeds with the slide of a finger. It even tells you which speed to use for stirring, chopping, mixing, blending, or pureeing. Use Multi-Speed Pulse for an added burst of power at any speed.

Preprogrammed Cycle Suggestions

Six preprogrammed custom cycles enable one-touch blending perfection: Smoothie, Salsa, Ice Cream, Whole Juice, Hot Soup, and Clean. The Designer 725 even suggests additional uses for each cycle so you know how to get the most from your blender.

"Add 10" Feature

With a single touch, add 10-second blend intervals to completely customize your blends.

Designer 725 with Wildside+ Jar is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 20.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Designer 725 with Wildside+ Jar is Dream Machine I purchased the Designer 725 with the Wildside+ Jar about month ago and it has exceeded all my expectations in performance, quality and design features. I've used it to make smoothies, salsa, soup bases and sauces with excellent results. The cleaning and scub cycle is awesome compared to how I had to manually wash my retired Cusinart Blender. It is truly a professional blender with power, outstanding design features and quality. The Wideside+ Jar works like a champ in blending, pouring and with the cleaning/scrub feature on the blender touch panel. The touch panel and features are awesome too. It's a very well designed blender along with the Wildside+ Jar and I would highly recommend to my friends.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from 725 Not Worth the Price I have owned a BlendTec for over 15 years. I thought long and hard about upgrading to the top of the line residential 725 model. Took the plunge anticipating a major improvement vs. my other blender. Result? Just about the same. Some cute little phrases print across the machine but it is JUST AS LOUD as the other, much less expensive models. I know this because I am an early riser. Most mornings I make a protein shake to have on the way to work. The kitchen is a long way from the bedrooms. We have a nice, executive home. Old Blentec, New 725 Blentec = same results. Wakes everyone up because of the noise. My advice. Save your money and go with less expensive Blentec. You will be just as happy and will have saved hundreds of dollars. I want you to know that I write this as a MAJOR Blentec fan. Their blenders are great. The 725 has no features to justify the premium price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Top-Quality Engineering and Design Integrity The simplicity and robustness of the engineering of the 725 is truly singular and remarkable, greatly exceeding our expectations. This American-made machine is positively "goof proof"... It is powerful, easy to clean, and forth right in its operation. Blendtec can expect future orders from us for its other products; our friends will become Blendtec consumers for certain. We did experience an unusual shipping delay, mainly owing to the demand for this model, causing us a bit of frustration; this was elegantly addressed by the three top-notch service representatives, for which a letter of gratitude to their leadership shall be forthcoming. Many Thanks... Dick B.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very happy I bought this taking a risk as I'm using it in Europe. These things are so expensive here. But turns out, this thing works incredibly well with a converter. It has so much power. Couldn't be happier!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Best Blender I've Used I love this blender. The touch screen surface is great to wipe down and super easy to use, the wild side jar is a great size. So far I've made smoothies daily (love the "self cleaning"), whipped cream, and hummus. Can't wait to make more recipes! My only negative is how incredibly loud it is! I feel bad that I'm waking everyone in the house up and am slightly concerned about hearing loss! Otherwise it's a 5 star product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Powerful and Versatile Traded in another brand for the 725. Love the design, power, and ease of use. The ONLY negative is this: I ultimately purchased two 725's from BB&B .... sent the first one back when it arrived without a plastic cover to protect the touch pad and there were scratches. The second 725 I received also didn't have a plastic cover but also had scratches on the touch pad. In the meantime I persuaded my sister in law into trading-in her Ninja for the 625 .... which arrived with a plastic cover on the touch pad and not a scratch in sight. What are the odds of two of the more expensive 725's purchased new in the box without a plastic protector? Other than that, the 725 is running perfectly and I'm glad I chose the Blendtec over other brands.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Blender Perfected! Had to wait a week to get the newest one out but more than worth the wait! This is the forefront of blending and technology. Very easy to use. Snap to clean. Love the large wildside container. Can't wait to collect recipes and put this machine to the test!

What is the decibel range of the 725 and other less expensive Blend Tecs as opposed to the Stealth?

Asked by: Neesa
The Stealth is at a 67 decibel level and runs loudest at a 81.2 decibel level. A standard ES3 motor runs with a full jar at 79DB, and the 725 is just slightly quieter.

Hi, I live in Singapore and would like to order the Designer 725 w/ Wildside & Jar (and the Twister Jar).. Can I order from the U.S.? I do not believe this model is available here or in the regions. Will the machine work with 220v? Thanks

This model is not compatible with 220v. If you order on blendtec.com, we only ship to US and Canada.

how do you clear overload condition detected?

Asked by: Penelope
You first power it off then un-plug it. Let it sit a few minutes. Plug it back in and it should reset. If it is still showing the error, it could be an internal error and you would need to send it in to repairs. If you do that please call customer service first to get a customer number and instructions.

I am in the market for a new blender and narrowed my choice to two : Blendtec 725 and Vitamix 750. I'd love to buy the Blendtec 725 except of 2 major issues : I have heard that it is a lot noisier than the Vitamix and the gasket shredding problem.

Asked by: KLMD85
It is loud because of the speed it blends at. The motor is quiet but the food with ice and fruits and vegetables makes it loud. The gasket shredding problem is minor. We replace your Jar's under warranty. The gasket is a working part of the motor. Like tires on a car that gasket will wear. There is not a prediction on when. It just depends. Some last years others months. We suggest that you do not push down on the top to steady it. That puts extra pressure on the gasket. Thank you for your question. Blendtec is the worlds most advanced blender.

I am comparing blendtek with vitamix before I buy. There are good points on both. I prefer the blendtec but what concerns me is that it doesn't come with  tamper. I have seen demonstrations on vitamix and it seems the tamper is necessary.

Asked by: Richard
Blendtec blenders do not need a tamper. The Blending Jars are designed to move the food in a vortex that pulls the food product down to the blade. Our blending jars are superior!

Hello, was wondering why the low-end RPMs isn't lower for slower mixing, like the 500rpm on Vitamix (better for chopping/other recipes). I really want a Blendtec, but trying to reconcile the glaring diffs. Are the lower speeds unnecessary? Thx!

Asked by: Galaxis
The blendtec blender chopping procedure happens when you pulse the food. That enables you to chop it to the right consistency. We do not have lower speeds. Our motor is strong and precise.
