Designer 625 with Wildside+ Jar is rated 4.4444 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from Love the blender but hate the jar I purchased my blender direct for Blendtec August 2013 to make smoothies and it does a great job. I opened and read the instructions (I'm geekie) but by Oct 2013 I had to have the Jar (wildside) replaced. It was under warranty so they sent out a new jar. Now it's almost August 2014 and I need to have the jar replaced again. For this product to be very pricey I would think they could product a jar that would last. I am glad it is under warranty but would hate to have to purchase a new jar every year. A lifetime warranty on the jar would better serve this blender I think I will do some research into the Vitamix to see if there is any known issues with there jar or anything else.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love My Blendtec Designer Series Blender! Received my Blendtec last month and absolutely love it! I have the combo Wildside & Fourside Jars which I often use together when I make large batches of either whole vegetable juices or fruit smoothies; I love the large 3 quart Wildside jar! The Blendtec does a superb job of making whole juices and smoothies - I haven't tried other things yet so I cannot leave a comment at this time. I've read other reviews complaining about how loud the Blendtec is but when I compare the noise level of the Blendtec to my old 10-speed blender I've been using, the Blendtec is quieter which I was pleased to discover. It may be a small thing to some, but I like the dull two-sided blade which allows for easy cleanup without the worry of catching a finger on a sharp blade; I use the pulse function with a bit of water and a drop of soap to clean the blender but I still like to take a dishcloth to the inside to give it a good cleaning prior to rinsing, so it's great not having to even think about a finger getting caught on a sharp blade. The Blendtec Designer Series is a beautiful looking blender with easy to use pre-set cycles and individual control of speed. I hope this blender meets my needs for years to come and that I don't end up having issues with the jar that others have mentioned. So far, I'm highly satisfied with my purchase.

There was no manual or recipe pamphlet in the box. I bought it new. Can you send me hard copies of these?

We have hundreds of recipes available on our website, you can find them here: http://www.blendtec.com/recipes Unfortunately, we cannot send you hard copies. However, there is a "Print" button underneath the recipe image that you can click and print on your own printer.

Your Butternut Squash soup recipe calls for "batter" function at the end to mix ingredients in final step. Aside from manual pulse, "batter" is not a button on my Blendtec 575. What other function can I use instead w/o mincing soup further?

Asked by: Andywits
Blend on Medium Low (your second speed button) for 30 seconds.

I was wondering why the new designer 625 has less features than the old designer model, and even less than the lower models?

Asked by: NuclearCook
In the process of creating a new line of blenders, we wanted to offer several different options to our customers. The features on the 625 (particularly the preprogrammed cycles) were chosen based off of the cycles that got the most usage. The Designer 725 is our full-featured model and is most closely related to the old Designer Series model.

Another reviewer asked about EBay, however they lived in Canada. If I purchase the 625 off EBay do I still have a warranty?

Asked by: Rhend
The blender will still have the warranty, as long as you purchase it from someone selling it in the country you reside in. However, if you are living outside the US or Canada, and you purchase a blender that was made for US or Canada, the warranty will be void.
