OREM, UTAH, USA – February 27, 2009 – Blendtec, a global provider of high-performance blenders and dispensing equipment, today announced it does not plan to take a wholesale price increase for 2009. In fact, Blendtec has not taken an across the board price increase, as most other manufacturers have, in the last 6 years.

"At a time when everyone is struggling to control costs and maintain revenues, we have chosen to maintain wholesale pricing at levels we have kept constant for several years. We will do everything we can to control manufacturing costs and not pass on component and material increases to our customers," says Dan Grover, Blendtec’s Director of North American Sales.

Working in conjunction with its wholesale dealer network and key accounts, Blendtec continues to offer the best Made in USA value for the lowest possible prices. Instead of always accepting raw materials price increases or component goods increases, Blendtec looks for ways to innovate its products and use alternate materials where possible to keep costs down.
